Presentation and service were very good and overall great ambience. I strongly recommend the crisp Spanish octopus. The flavors were savory and octopus texture was perfection. The pork schnitzel was not what we expected but was very tasty. The confit ribs were a bit on the salty side but still very good. I look forward to returning and trying additional menu items.

Foundation Social Eatery: A Suburban Gem with a Taste of Sophistication After hearing countless glowing reviews about Foundation Social Eatery in downtown Alpharetta, I finally had the chance to experience it for myself. Arriving at 5 PM, we snagged a high-top table by the bar. To my surprise, we weren't the first patrons through the door, and the steady flow of diners throughout the evening was a testament to the restaurant's well-earned reputation. To start the evening, I ordered the Spanish octopus, which transported me back to the Iberian Peninsula with its authentic flavors and thoughtful preparation. It was distinctly Spanish and wonderfully executed. Following that, I indulged in the FSE pâté alongside their house-made bread, both of which earned superlative marks. The pâté was rich and velvety, the bread perfectly baked--a simple yet powerful showcase of the kitchen's talent. Next came the mushroom ravioli, a dish elevated by the addition of a mushroom foam--a touch of culinary flair you don't often see in the suburbs. It was thoughtful, delicate, and beautifully balanced. For my main, I couldn't resist the pork schnitzel, being a self-proclaimed schnitzel enthusiast. It did not disappoint. The portion was generous, with perfectly crispy breading and juicy, flavorful pork. I ended up taking some home, but only because the serving was so substantial. To finish the meal, we shared the chocolate budino, a decadent mousse-like dessert that capped off the evening perfectly. Rich without being overly heavy, it was an excellent note to end on. What makes Foundation Social Eatery truly special is its ever-evolving menu. The kitchen clearly takes pride in experimenting with flavors and execution, and those experiments consistently pay off. They say each visit feels like an invitation to be part of their culinary journey. If you haven't yet tried Foundation, I can't recommend it enough. It's a rare blend of suburban charm and big-city sophistication, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Family owned restaurant with great atmosphere with a few delicious vegetarian options. Superb service and great drinks. The mushroom ravioli was very different than the traditional ravioli. Worth trying.

Unique, delicious food and drinks in Alpharetta. I came here with my sister on a Saturday night - we made reservations, so we were seated as soon as we walked up. Our waiter was attentive and nice, offering suggestions as this was our first time. We both ordered cocktails - both delicious - and we split the Spanish Octopus and the Bread. For food, I got the mushroom ravioli which was unlike any dish I had ever had. The ravioli literally melted in my mouth, it was soo good. Highly recommend!

Cocktails were delicious and strong. Food was pretty tasty, although the octopus had something that was a bit too salty in it... When you eat all of the components together it is not that bad. The burger was nice yet the pickled onions were a bit overpowering so use them sparingly if you plan to put it in your burger. The rhubarb dessert was my favorite. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of it! My absolute favorite cocktail that is hard to find in a lot of places was offered as a dessert cocktail, and it was the perfect amount of minty + sweet. Very light and refreshing cocktail (Grasshopper). I would say the prices are pretty reasonable for all of the food and drinks we ordered. Very high quality ingredients. The staff were nice but our waitress was kind of standoff-ish. She would not really look anyone in the eye or smile. She was very nice though! Would definitely come back here.

Drinks: 5/5- creative drink menu. We loved what we chose. My husband had a bourbon drink that also had wine in it. Really nice. My drink had grapefruit, Prosecco and amereto in it. It was great. Food: 4/5 good food. Different menu- we did a bread service and I had Chicken Bolognese- which I loved and my husband had the rock shrimp with black spaghetti. He said it was pretty good. We were with two other couples who got a hanger steak and the ravioli. The only complaints were that the dishes didn't come with a side item like a starch, a veggie or even a salad- for the price, I think we all expected more. A roasted chicken breast said it came with roasted carrots and onions. Would have been nice on a bed of potatoes or rice. Service: 5/5- bartender, hostesses and wait staff were very sweet, attentive and gave the two birthday boys a signed card. Really nice and a free dessert. The dessert was a small cake with a scoop of vanilla. Really nice. Ambiance: 5/5 loved the interior, the patio looks great too- really cool bar vibe to sit and have drinks. Outdoor looks like it has a fireplace to enjoy as well. Bathroom: clean, well stocked Parking: 3/5 - it's downtown Alpharetta- so parking in always a mess. We had a good 15 minute walk to get to the restaurant.

Good god this place is incredible!!! Every dish we had was better than the last and each one was a masterclass in perfectly balanced flavors! Alpharetta is lucky to have such a fantastic chef who is clearly so passionate and has a beautiful and clear vision. I feel lucky to live so close by! The atmosphere is exactly what you want to wind down (or up?! ) on a Friday night! Great lighting, cool interior and artistic design, and great overall vibes! We ordered so much food because we were so hungry and it was all just perfect. The cocktails were superior! Our server, Julio, was just the best!! So approachable and super knowledgeable about all the dishes. He made an already awesome experience over the top excellent!! I can't wait to come back and am so excited to see what this relatively new restaurant goes from here!

Love this place! Loved it when it was in East Roswell and love it now in Alpharetta. Can't believe I hadn't left a review before, guess it's true we take for granted the things we love. Anyways, the interior is amazing and an aesthetically pleasing gem for your eyes to feast on before the food arrives and the belly can have its feast. Bolognese. A MUST order every time! Did a split order with my date so we could eat more other foods. More foods = better. It is a mouth dream come true of sensations and feels. Trust me on this! Usually my first go to is the Spanish octopus. By far the best I've had anywhere, ever. This time we opted for the fish tin and escargot instead. The fish tins are fun and a different spin and we enjoyed them. Might need to come back and try all the fish options in the future! The escargot was a nice mix up from the traditional dish but man, nothing slaps like that Spanish octopus! While the burger was very tasty, I want to take this opportunity to be pedantic and say it should really be called a patty melt. There, I said it. My only negative of FSE is the labeling of one of the food items on the menu and nothing else, there are no other negatives! It's all beautifully crafted and delicious and thus 5 stars.
